Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
